1. Mental Game
Each pitch starts with preparation. Preparation from the night before, from the last game, even from the the end of last season. Utilizing tools to control your emotions takes the roller coaster out of having either a poor or quality pitching outing, at-bat, or defensive round.

2. Study Habits
Whether you're learning how to read a pitcher's pitches or studying hitter's approaches as a pitcher, proper preparation and positive habits opens doors for players on and off the field. Studying opponents and having excellent grades in school are both critical to a player's success.

3. Health
Our bodies are only as limber and strong as we keep them, and the biggest causes of injuries are poor diet, dehydration and lack of physical preparation. A combination of nutrition, conditioning and age appropriate strength training allows players to learn and get better every single day.

4. Repetition
Practice doesn't make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect. The correct repetition and committment to building on fundamentals is the only way a player can develop the physical tools that scouts and college baseball coaches look for.

5. Physical Tools
From Running speed and Arm Strength, to Fielding and Hitting for Average and Power, Academy coaching staff guides players with Division 1 and Professional techniques and approaches. No one player is the same, and it is up to each player to put in the work both on and off the field to realize the most results.
